No Antlers In My Decorating

When it comes to art, like the kind you hang and display, I am not one to DIY. I hate how my sketches, paintings, and basically anything made with fine motor function comes out. So when it comes to home decor, I like to purchase instead of create.

Me being me though, I generally don't go to home decor stores unless I need visual inspiration. I love hitting up antiques stores, mom-and-pop shops, and thrift stores. As My Soulmate says, our home's style is very tchotchke/things gathered looking. I'm a big fan of original/unique looking things. Unique is cozy and fun, like antlers, but I'm not Gaston.
