KITTY STORIES!

If you've stuck around here for a while, then you know I use cats a lot in my images.
Some of them are there just because the internet is chock full
of adorably appropriate images, relevant to the content of my posts.

Most of the time though, I use them in relation to actions I describe of myself,
with kitties that are pretending to be me!
You might remember them from this post, this post, and this post.

Why cats, you ask?
Because despite many years of resistance as a child who loved labradors,
I am a cat person. I mean that in both senses, in that I love having cats,
and I also behave very much like one.

Okay maybe that's a little too far
I'm incredibly neat, usually cleaning as recreation because it makes me happy.

I'm incredibly needy when it comes to attention,
constantly demanding to be pet or snuggled physically and emotionally at all times.

Plenty of people have equated me to cats because of my ability to walk
around very quietly, despite being extra large all over,
and only be noticed when I want, by touch or speaking to them directly.

Another aspect of sneakiness I have is my ability to disappear within a room.
My "mother-in-law" has commented several times how stealthy I can be,
reaching a level of calm observation that's almost eerie.
She says I look like a cat, waiting to pounce, with an unseen tail twitching playfully.

I'm also quite fickle or temperamental at times, switching moods like a light switch
from affection, to rage, to calm again, all seemingly on a whim.

Because of this behavior, Husband refers to all things "Anna" as Kitty Things.
