A decade can be both a long and short span of time depending on how you look at it. Where I sit now, a decade is a massive chunk of time.

After a lifetime, I'm sure a decade feels like a few months. My life thus far is still pretty much at the beginning, so a decade is almost eternal, relatively speaking.

When you're waiting or working towards something, a decade is an eternity. It seems like an insurmountable amount of time to wade through to finally reach that thing at the end.

Ten years seems so far away, and with all the drastic changes that can happen across a year, who knows where the world will be with ten times the opportunities for change?
