I Made This Manly Basket

Okay admittedly this isn't a shining moment for creativity and blogging,

but it's Christmas dammit, and ain't nobody got time fo dat!

Across the last few months, I've been sneaking in small purchases

with our groceries so Husband wouldn't notice what I was doing.

It worked out well when we exchanged gifts

prior to our annual voyage to the in-laws in Louisiana.

I think my gift wins twice for being awesome,

and being able to be used on the flight (mostly).

 It's a basket of manly deliciousness!

I filled it with Starbucks Mochas, beef jerky, Reese's peanut butter cups, 

and the makings of three Killer Bee shots.

 Honestly he was surprised I even made the basket,

since we have an ongoing tradition of unwrapped gifts,

but it seemed wrong to just throw a grocery bag at him.

This year, he threw a "new" Coach bag at me,
and the promise of an acrylic manicure for the holidays.

I'm not sure if I'm more thrilled by how cute it is,
or how he managed to get it second-hand for $30.
This lady is a frugalite, and couponing turns me on!!

I almost forgot, I gave him a sappy card too,

so far this holiday we're pretty much tied on the awesome scale.
