Put Our Service To The Test

In a typical month, Husband and I will go out to dinner at least once as a sort of date night. We do it partially as a treat to me, getting to eat something I wouldn't make at home, and partially as a way for him to get out of the house and see the sky again. Okay mostly it's for my benefit, but it's almost always an adventure for Husband too.

Lately we've been in and out of town a lot, seeing family and such, so we've eaten out a lot more than we ever would plan to. Anyone who followed my road trip series or Yelp can see that.
Normally, we decide to go out when I get antsy with cabin fever and also want some relationship time. That's becoming less of a spontaneous thing now that we have three "kids," especially since one is particularly needy.
Dad joked on our anniversary as I picked up my sister to feed/watch our dogs, "Look how domestic you are, arranging a sitter for your three kids so you and the husband can have a quiet anniversary dinner. I never thought I'd see the day!"
I of course replied like the mature adult I am with a grimace and obscene hand gestures.

Chances are on the more normal routine there will be fewer restaurant nights, but with more runs to family afar there will be increasing Yelp reviews yet!
