Because I can't hit the treadmill like I used to. No bullshit!
I have always had terrible, awful, heart attack inducing eating habits, but I always stayed in shape/ lost weight easily because I worked out a lot.
I eat bad food for a lot of reasons. A large reason is that it's convenient. If the day comes that I am unable to open a package of E.L. Fudge cookies, have mercy and kill me.
"Bored eating" is a pretty bad habit of mine too. I've tried to break that one, since I don't even take the time to enjoy whatever I was haphazardly shoving in my mouth.
I eat some bad foods because I just plain enjoy it. I love eating, and love it more when it's delicious - see also Cajun and comfort foods. While they may have some healthy aspects, eating such high salt, high fat meals often surely isn't the best choice.
Most cliche of them all though, is that I eat my feelings. This can range from needing a pick me up to so much self loathing that I am attempting to eat myself to death like that guy from the old Kirby ads. I'd share video, but it's pretty gross.
Basically, I'm like a snacking machine.
It's horrible, I know, and even more horrible that I am aware of it, but it feels too good to stop.
It's the only happiness I have left!!
Please excuse me now, Husband is wrestling a can of frosting out of my hand...
