Where Do You Wanna Eat?

To this day I have yet to nail down one favorite restaurant. Since my eating habits are somewhat ruled by my emotions, what I  love one day may not stay the same on  the next.

I have a few go-tos for certain cuisines though, which in a way makes them favorites.
For Mexican, we've really been enjoying El Toreo. They are generous in their drinks and portions, with consistent quality as far as flavor and not murdering dishes with cilantro.
Italian is pretty damn good at Johnny Carino's. We used to frequent Giovanni's in Lancaster, but they seem to have closed. Again, Carino's is hefty on portions and high on flavor, with the most adorable, satisfying mini-desserts.
Chinese is tough, since Husband isn't a huge fan to begin with. We have yet to find a place that makes egg rolls to suit his tastes. Usually when I'm in need, I'll just grab a small combo for lunch on a shopping day at Pei Wei or Panda Express. Since my soy allergy reared its ugly head I've steered clear of Japanese; with it's tofu heavy menus, Husband wasn't too grieved about this.
I know there are other Asian genres out there, as we recently had our first  Mongolian BBQ on the road. Husband loved it so much, he wants me to find a good one out here to go to! (He hates leaving the house, so this is amazing.) Hit me up if you know where I can impress him, and I'll make you a personalized doodle.
Seriously.
When it comes to pizza, we both like a thicker crust and seasoned sauce. Beyond that, we don't delve much into the "gourmet" side of the pie. Big Al's out here is great for a basic pizza, and when we need more zing we go for Papa Johns. It's hard to resist their Garlic Butter Sauce.
If we're just enjoying a good cocktail and maybe a snack/dessert, Yard House is the way to go. That place was made for enjoying a drink, and my god have they perfected the Old Fashioned. Bourbon fans will thank me for pointing you there.
