It wasn't until I became unable to wear half of my collection
that I came to truly appreciate my shoes.
With the holiday season upon us, all I can do is ruminate on "could have."
Despite my cousins' labeling of me as an amazon,
I love wearing shoes with high heels.
Kitten heels are nice too, but the higher heels make my legs look good.
With this knee injury, I know I shouldn't wear heeled shoes,
since they will cause more pain and possibly injury,
but I'm at a point now where the joy of feeling pretty almost
outweighs the potential pain of wearing the damn things.
I guess I should be grateful to have
a handful of cute flats.
They have their place too, but it’s
just not the same.
