Blogging Made Life Interesting Again

One of the things I've noticed since blogging is that I actually pay more attention to the here and now with the future in mind.

"How do I feel about this event?"
"Would my readers like this?"
"Is there a way to make this funny?"

I'm definitely guilty of being one of those people who wished they were filmed regularly, because so many unique, funny, or meaningful things happen that just can't translate in their retelling. Blogging has become that platform, as both an opportunity and challenge to bring those moments to you nice people.

In a way, it's inflated my ego a bit, as I have a tendency to document things that I'm sure you all will find important. Most of the time, better than half of those tidbits get slashed before they even develop into a post.

At first I thought my life would be more hectic, or pressured, with the demands of the standards I set for this blog. Already I've dropped the ball a good three times.

However, as I said before, having these posts in mind has really made me not only slow down and appreciate the day to day, but it's also helped me look at life through you nice peoples' eyes.
