Why? Lots of reasons.
For one, even if I do move on to having a normal life and career, I will always be having adventures.
Always.
On the other hand, should I be permanently handicrapped, I'll probably delve into my retirement plans in the arts and music, which I know you nice people will want to know all about.
Because I'm just that interesting.
