This Is My Good Side

I like to think that this blog has showcased the better parts of me, although I'm sure much of my more conservative family would disagree. Between the sailor linguistics and social issues covered, I've gotten a few disapproving looks.

Thus far it has proven to be a platform of expression and a little self-discovery, all wrapped up in a cheesy comedic coating.

My biggest struggle is realizing it's incredibly hard to write on a regular basis. I either have no clue what to talk about, or have so much to cover I can't choose, or get passionate about something and don't know how to properly cover it.

Already I dipped my toes in some important things, mostly centered on sexual health and social issues, which garnered mixed responses. I attribute that to the controversial nature of these topics, since writing has actually helped me take a step back, remove the knee jerk emotion of an issue, and really get down to the meat and potatoes of things.

I think those of you who know the Anna behind the keyboard would agree that my blogging journey for the most part puts my best foot forward.
