When it comes to trusting myself or others, I often live by the credo, "If you want it done right, do it yourself."
No lie, I am a bit of a control freak.
Ask anyone.
Occasionally I can delegate, like in the work environment, but that's about the limit of my trust of others.
I have very high standards, most especially for myself, and it would be unrealistic to hold others to them when I could just as easily just achieve those standards on my own. It's a bad habit, and often leads to overwhelmed implosions. I'm sure many of you think I'm some degree of a snob now too.
I don't necessarily think no one is good enough, it's just that I am a perfectionist.
