You Are Now Reading This In My Voice

One of the things I personally relish is that my writing style is able to reflect how I actually speak in "real" life - you know, outside.

There are some missing nuances. For instance, I love visual aides to drive a point home. While most of the time this blog is at an advantage of having the entire Internet to draw on, there's just some concepts demonstrated better with body language.

I'm that female archetype who needs to talk with her hands. This always proves interesting when Husband and I are on long drives, since that's when we have our more impassioned, in depth discussions.

The other thing you nice people miss out on is my range of silly sounds. I don't mean tone, since usually I can purvey that adequately with words and images. I mean actual sounds.

My family is notorious for storytelling with an almost ridiculous peppering of onomatopoeias. (Love that word, btw.)

Of course I can type those out, but then you don't get to mock my goofy voices and melodramatic hand motions that always accompany sound effects!

The only way I could bridge this gap in artistry would be to make videos, but despite my charms, I don't really love how I look in film.
